We are seeking a senior Geomechanical Consultant to evaluate underground mining operations, propose control measures, and prepare technical reports.

**Geomechanical Consultant – Underground Mining**
A senior Geomechanical Consultant is required to conduct a technical evaluation of an underground mining operation and issue a report containing observations and applicable recommendations for the operation.
**Responsibilities**
* Review and classify rock mass quality.
* Evaluate hydraulic radius and maximum openings according to the mining method.
* Review pillar dimensions and stability conditions.
* Analyze the mining method and principal geomechanical risks.
* Propose control measures and recommendations for safe continuation of operations.
* Prepare and present a final technical report.
**Requirements**
* Geological engineer or mining engineer.
* Professional registration and licensure preferred.
* More than seven years of professional experience.
* Proven experience in geomechanics applied to underground mining.
* Operational experience inside mines.
* Knowledge of RMR, Barton's Q, GSI, hydraulic radius, and stability methods.
* Proficiency in specialized geomechanical software, preferred.
* Availability to conduct technical site visits.
**Conditions**
* Consulting engagement.
* Contracted via service invoice (receipt for professional services).
* Work delivered per visit and deliverables.
* Reference rate of USD 100–200 per day, depending on experience and scope.
* Must deliver a report containing observations, conclusions, and recommendations.
