This is our way of developing mining—always connected to change through committed, inspired, and continuously growing professionals. **Join Nexa and become part of the mining that moves with the world!** **\#WomenTalentInMining** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Execute scheduled and planned activities within established deadlines to ensure compliance with production programs, progress targets, and mine area service requirements. * Coordinate and plan routine and priority activities with various operational areas to ensure adherence to the mining plan. * Identify risks and hazards related to personnel and equipment, and develop engineering solutions to mitigate these conditions. * Improve processes by identifying bottlenecks and implementing continuous improvement projects using methodologies such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, TOC, among others. * Plan short-term mine designs and mining schedules, including short- and medium-term forecasts and budgets. * Plan, research, interpret results, and prepare recommendations, summaries, schedules, and cost estimates. * Provide support and follow-up to contractor companies regarding contract scope, valuations, contractual deviations, penalty enforcement, and fulfillment of labor obligations, in coordination with the contract cell team. * Manage the proper use of management tools and implement new tools as needed. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, and/or Metallurgy. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles. * Knowledge of underground mining methods. * Proficiency in mining planning software. * Experience in budget development and cost control. **Additional Information** * Mining Unit: Cerro Lindo * Atypical work schedule At NEXA, we work in a diverse environment where people feel free to be themselves.
