Establish security policies and manage roles and permissions A leading company in the digital transformation of business processes across Latin America is seeking a Senior Database Administrator. **Requirements** * Graduate in Systems Engineering and/or related fields * Minimum 3 years of experience in related positions * Experience in database administration, management, and control, with a highly specialized profile oriented toward technical operations * Advanced level in Relational Database Management * Monitoring and Performance: Knowledge of ETL/ELT & Data Pipelines * Data Security * Cloud Computing (not mandatory) * NoSQL Databases (optional, not mandatory) * Big Data & Streaming (optional, not mandatory) **Responsibilities** * Collaborate with developers and IT teams to design databases meeting business requirements, defining table structures, relationships, and schemas * Implement new databases and manage their growth as data is added. This includes creating tables, indexes, and other database objects * Monitor and tune database performance to ensure applications operate efficiently * Establish database security policies, manage user roles and permissions, encrypt sensitive data, and ensure databases comply with security and privacy regulations * Define and execute regular backup policies to protect data and ensure recoverability in case of failures.
