JOB OBJECTIVE To provide specialized technical assistance support in ophthalmic operating rooms, ensuring proper preparation of patients, surgical instruments, and equipment, while strictly complying with biosafety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health regulations. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS * Diploma as a **Nursing Technician**. * Minimum 6 months’ experience in a surgical center or operating room. * Basic knowledge of biosafety and sterilization. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES * Prepare the operating room before each procedure. * Verify proper functioning of biomedical equipment. * Prepare and assist with surgical instrumentation. * Perform gauze and instrument counts. * Assist with patient transfer and positioning. * Strictly adhere to sterilization protocols. * Record information in established forms. * Report incidents to the immediate supervisor.
