We are looking for a Junior SSOMA Supervisor for our food concessionaire. The purpose of the position is to ensure compliance with Safety, Occupational Health, Environment, and Food Safety standards in all operational areas. The ideal candidate must have training in OHS or related fields, knowledge of GMP, IPERC, and safety regulations, as well as experience in supervision within the food industry. Position Objective Ensure compliance with Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental rules and procedures in the operations of the food concessionaire, guaranteeing safe working conditions, food safety in operational areas, and compliance with legal standards and client requirements. 2\. Main Responsibilities · Occupational Health and Safety · Daily supervision of proper use of PPE by operational staff. · Conduct safety inspections in kitchen, warehouse, dining rooms, refrigerated chambers, and dispatch areas. · Verify compliance with IPERC and safe operating procedures. · Report unsafe acts and conditions, proposing corrective actions. · Assist in the investigation of incidents, accidents, and near misses. · Train personnel on basic SSOMA topics and good operational practices. · Monitor validity of occupational medical examinations. · Environment · Verify proper segregation of solid waste according to current regulations. · Supervise appropriate storage of chemicals and their SDS. · Monitor responsible consumption of resources (water, energy). · Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) · Supervise order, hygiene, and food handling. · Verify storage temperatures, equipment cleaning, and pest control. · Ensure compliance with SOPs and GMP in all areas. · Documentation Management · Maintain updated SSOMA records (inductions, trainings, inspections, work permits). · Prepare weekly and monthly SSOMA performance reports. · Support internal and external audits by clients or authorities. 3\. Academic Background * Technical degree or university graduate in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Nutrition, or related fields. * Courses or certifications in Occupational Health and Safety, Food Handling / GMP, IPERC, ATS, first aid (desirable). 5\. Experience * 1 to 2 years in similar positions in food concessionaires, food industries, catering services, or related sectors. * Experience supervising personnel (desirable). 6\. Technical Knowledge \- Basic OHS legislation (Law 29783 and applicable regulations). \- IPERC, ATS, and work permits. \- GMP and SOPs. \- Solid waste management and basic environmental regulations. \- Intermediate level of Microsoft Office.
