ANALYTICAL LABORATORY is an accredited environmental laboratory dedicated to providing environmental monitoring and analytical services for various sectors such as mining, hydrocarbons, industry, fisheries, etc. We are currently seeking a **PHYSICAL-CHEMICAL LABORATORY SUPERVISOR** **REQUIREMENTS:** * Technician or Graduate in Chemical Analysis, or Bachelor’s or Degree Holder in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, and/or related fields. * Experience operating GC-MS/GC-FID, GC-ECD. * Experience as a Gas Chromatography Laboratory Supervisor, or at least three years serving as a Gas Chromatography Analyst I. * Implementation (validation/verification) of gas chromatography methods for water, soil, air, and sewage sludge matrices. * NTP/ISO 17025 training. * Estimation and evaluation of measurement uncertainty. * Ensuring the validity of results. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Comply with the Quality Management System (QMS) policy and other management system guidelines. * Conduct analyses according to established methodologies. * Record, document, and retain all obtained data in accordance with the Management System specifications. * Identify deviations, risks, or opportunities for improvement within the management system or procedures for laboratory service delivery; report these to the immediate supervisor. * Ensure implementation of measures guaranteeing result validity. * Participate in and maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and facility organization and cleanliness. * Implement and/or validate new laboratory methodologies in coordination with the supervisor. * Document uncertainty studies for test methods. * Document validation studies for test methods. * Verify operational status and proper functioning of laboratory equipment, per authorization. * Monitor the laboratory equipment calibration, maintenance, and intermediate verification program. * Request necessary equipment required for assigned testing activities. * Meet result delivery deadlines set by the immediate supervisor. * Coordinate with the Laboratory Supervisor to monitor status. * ISO 17025 training preferred. * Other duties assigned and inherent to the position. **SKILLS:** * Effective verbal and written communication. * Teamwork. * Planning and organizational ability. **BENEFITS:** * Timely monthly payments. * Professional growth.
