COMSERTRAN S.A.C., a company providing electrical, instrumentation, and electromechanical maintenance services, is seeking a qualified professional for the position of Electrical Technician for the **plant shutdown at the HUDBAY Mining Unit (UM), scheduled for AUGUST 2026**, who meets the following requirements: **Requirements:** * Degree in Electricity or Electrotechnology. * Minimum 3 years of experience in the mining sector performing electrical maintenance at Concentrator Plants (including plant shutdowns or related services). * Knowledge of procedures for isolation and release of energy sources—electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic—for plant equipment. * Knowledge of safe work procedures applicable to all maintenance activities. **\* Experience in maintenance of:** * Installation and removal of lighting fixtures. * Installation of electrical conduits (PVC, conduit, stainless steel). * Wiring of communication signals. * Installation of electrical panels. * Laying and dressing of power cables / optical fiber cables. * Installation of cable supports and cable trays. * Laying and dressing of cables in cable trays. * Installation and dismantling of multidirectional scaffolding. * Willingness to complete required certification courses. * Immediate availability. * Preferably residing in Arequipa, Cusco, and/or surrounding areas. **GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY:** Perform maintenance services on electrical equipment in the plant area and propose process improvements to maintain equipment availability and operability, while complying with safety, occupational health, environmental, and quality standards and procedures. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Identification of Hazards and Risk Assessment and Control (baseline IPERC and continuous IPERC), Written Permits for High-Risk Work (PETAR), Written Safe Work Procedures (PETS). * Inspect electrical equipment according to the maintenance plan. * Diagnose faults in electrical systems of equipment and components. * Carry out replacement and/or repair activities on faulty electrical infrastructure, coordinating with supervision. * Lay low-voltage and medium-voltage electrical cables underground and on surface. * Perform maintenance and repair of general-purpose electrical panels. * Install and maintain lighting equipment. * Implement the 3S standard (Sort, Set in order, Shine) in the Electrical Maintenance area. * Properly use tools, materials, and personal and collective protective equipment. * Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor within the scope of responsibilities. **COMPETENCIES:** * Organization * Initiative * Teamwork * Communication Employment Type: Temporary Salary: S/.150\.00 \- S/.190\.00 per day Work Location: On-site employment
