Position Summary:
Supervise and control plant production operations to ensure operational continuity by managing processes, personnel, and regulatory compliance.

**Mission or Objective:** Supervise and control plant production operations based on established scheduling to ensure operational continuity.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise the operational execution of plant(s) in accordance with load, production, and maintenance schedules, among others.
* Monitor and directly control inputs, materials, and other resources used in the production process during the shift.
* Maintain records and oversee maintenance and repair activities performed on machinery, equipment, facilities, and plant(s).
* Analyze and resolve administrative and technical issues arising during the shift, adhering to applicable regulations.
* Control access to and egress from factories for personnel, materials, vehicles, and any other objects during the shift.
* Prepare daily reports in the designated logbook, providing all necessary information to the relieving engineer; also submit a detailed report to the Process Manager outlining incidents and tasks completed during the shift.
* Coordinate plant startups and shutdowns for repair cases following prior evaluation of prevailing conditions.
* Coordinate and assign maintenance personnel under the shift to perform repair work without interrupting production, in accordance with process area directives and verifying completion thereof.
* Supervise plant operations under the shift to ensure compliance with relevant safety and environmental regulations, thereby ensuring smooth operation, employee safety, and environmental protection.
* Take all precautions to protect workers, verifying and analyzing whether workers have completed the IPERC (Identification of Hazards and Risk Assessment) in their work areas to eliminate or minimize risks.
* Investigate situations deemed hazardous by workers or members of the Occupational Safety and Health Committee.
Requirements:
* Chemical Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or related discipline.
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in supervisory roles within industrial chemical process plants is preferred.
