Property Administrative Specialists work with all departments (e.g., guest services, engineering, food and beverage), providing administrative support. Whether it is providing administrative support (e.g., preparing documents using word processing software, spreadsheets, databases, or presentations), serving as a liaison between the sales office and clients throughout the entire process (pre-event, during event, post-event), Property Administrative Specialists achieve the goals. They are essential in ensuring smooth operations across the entire hotel. Regardless of your specific role, there are several fundamental responsibilities that support success\-creating a safe workplace; following company policies and procedures; maintaining quality standards; and ensuring your uniform, personal appearance, and communication remain professional at all times. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other employees and departments; support your team to achieve common goals; listen to and respond appropriately to concerns raised by other employees. Report accidents, damages, and hazardous situations to your manager. Perform a variety of tasks (e.g., moving items, lifting, carrying, pushing, and placing objects weighing less than 10 pounds without assistance). Remain constantly active (standing, sitting, walking for extended periods). You must be able to bend down and perform movements requiring you to bend your knees, twist, stretch, and stoop.
