





A leading company in the construction sector is seeking a Soils and Concrete Technician to join its team. **Requirements:** Technical education in soils, concrete, and asphalt laboratories; training related to the specialty (soil and concrete laboratory testing, soil mechanics); intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; 5 years of verifiable experience in construction companies on civil works projects; 4 years of experience as a Soils Technician or Quality Technician on construction projects. **Responsibilities:** Execute project scope through established processes and fulfill contractual commitments regarding specifications, codes, standards, legal requirements, and industry standards. Supervise the use of laboratory resources associated with the project. Verify fieldwork organization, field surveys, and field sampling in accordance with current regulations, technical specifications, and established protocols. Verify samples and consumables required for sample testing; conduct tests; evaluate test results; manage final disposal of sample waste; verify test results; and prepare test reports in compliance with current regulations, technical specifications, and established protocols. Verify fieldwork organization; perform and verify field sampling of concrete constituent materials; perform and verify field sampling of concrete mixtures in accordance with current regulations, technical specifications, and established protocols. Receive hardened or fresh concrete samples; conduct tests on hardened or fresh samples; evaluate results for hardened and/or fresh concrete samples; dispose of hardened and/or fresh concrete waste in accordance with current regulations, technical specifications, and established protocols. Receive and test samples of aggregates, asphalt, and asphalt mixtures; conduct tests on aggregates, asphalt, and asphalt mixtures; evaluate sample results against asphalt mixture design specifications; dispose of asphalt waste; evaluate asphalt sample test results; verify test results for aggregates, asphalt, and asphalt mixtures; and prepare test result reports in compliance with current regulations, technical specifications, and established protocols.
