Execution of maintenance to ensure equipment operability COMSERTRAN S.A.C., a company providing electrical, instrumentation, and electromechanical maintenance services, is seeking a qualified professional to fill the position of Electrical Technician for the **plant shutdown at the HUDBAY U.M. in AUGUST 2026**, meeting the following requirements: **Requirements:** * Graduate in Electricity or Electrotechnology. * Minimum 3 years of experience in the mining sector performing electrical maintenance at concentrator plants (plant shutdowns or services). * Knowledge of lockout and energy source isolation procedures for plant equipment, including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. * Knowledge of safe work procedures for all maintenance activities. **\* Experience in maintenance of:** * Installation and removal of lighting fixtures * Installation of electrical conduits (PVC, conduit, stainless steel) * Wiring of communication signals * Installation of electrical panels * Laying and dressing of power cables / optical fiber cables * Installation of cable supports and trays * Laying and dressing of cables in trays * Installation and dismantling of multidirectional scaffolding * Willingness to complete required certification courses * Immediate availability * Preferably residing in Arequipa, Cusco, and/or surrounding areas **GENERAL FUNCTION:** Perform electrical equipment maintenance services within the plant area and propose process improvements to maintain equipment availability and operability, respecting safety, occupational health, environmental, and quality standards and procedures. **FUNCTIONS:** * Identification of Hazards and Risk Assessment and Control (baseline IPERC and continuous IPERC), Written Permits for High-Risk Work (PETAR), Written Safe Work Procedures (PETS). * Inspect electrical equipment according to the maintenance plan. * Diagnose faults in equipment and component electrical systems. * Carry out replacement and/or repair activities on faulty electrical infrastructure, coordinated with supervision. * Lay low-voltage and medium-voltage electrical cables underground and on surface. * Perform maintenance and repair of general electrical panels. * Install and maintain lighting equipment. * Implement the 3S standard (Sort, Set in order, Shine) in the Electrical Maintenance Area. * Properly use tools, materials, personal protective equipment (PPE), and collective protective equipment. * Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor within the scope of responsibilities. **COMPETENCIES:** * Organization * Initiative * Teamwork * Communication Employment Type: Temporary Salary: S/.100\.00 \- S/.101\.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
