GENERAL FUNCTION: Plan and manage production by analyzing the cost of raw materials, product design, the condition of machinery and equipment, as well as developing appropriate processes, all aimed at effectively and efficiently delivering products to the customer. SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS: ● Organize and supervise that Metalworking, Workshop, Assembly, and Maintenance processes are carried out efficiently. ● Organize and supervise metalworking, assembly, and machining operations both inside and outside the production plant. ● Ensure proper execution of processes on CNC and conventional machines, guaranteeing product quality, adherence to deadlines, and efficient use of human and material resources. ● Supervise that the foundry process delivers parts on time. ● Authorize corrective actions in case of deviations in the production process. ● Coordinate with the customer for machine testing. ● Review the daily report submitted by supervisors of boiler-making, turning, and assembly, monitoring progress and task completion. Specialty: Graduate in Mechanical Engineering Experience: Minimum 5 years in similar positions Postgraduate or Master’s Degree in Production Management (optional) ● Coordinate the service provided by mechanics for repairs and supervision of work during equipment shutdowns. ● Develop the work schedule, define production priorities, and communicate them to the involved processes. ● Actively participate in the development of basic and detailed engineering for projects to be executed and convert them into fabrication drawings. ● Authorize mechanics’ travel to perform work in provinces. ● Define priorities for tasks to be performed in the Production area. ● Verify compliance with quality and safety requirements in product manufacturing and finishing. ● Investigate and propose acquisition of new machinery to improve productivity according to process needs. ● Analyze production times, labor hours, machinery capacity and performance, resource availability, etc., and report findings to General Management.
