Job Summary: Newrest is seeking a Quality Assistant to verify regulatory compliance, supervise operations, and participate in audits, ensuring high quality standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Compliance verification of quality regulations (BPM, SSOP, HACCP) 2. Supervision of activities and assurance of Quality standards 3. Participation in internal/external audits and management of action plans Newrest is a multinational catering company currently operating in 53 countries and present in Peru for 13 years. Focused on gastronomy, our operations span Air Catering, Concessions, Retail, and Food Service, Maintenance, and Hospitality at Remote Sites (shift-based regime). We are currently seeking one (1) Quality Assistant with the following profile: REQUIREMENTS: \- Bachelor's degree or candidate in Food Science and Nutrition, Nutrition, Food Industries, Microbiology, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related technical fields aligned with the food industry. \- Preferred experience: 1 year in the role of Quality Assistant or similar positions. \- Experience in food quality control. \- Knowledge of fruit and vegetable processes (receiving, selection, storage, and preservation). \- Proficiency in BPM (Good Manufacturing Practices). \- Basic knowledge of quality and food safety records. \- Availability to work under a 5x2 shift schedule in Cusco. \- Must reside in Cusco (mandatory) RESPONSIBILITIES: \- Verify compliance with BPM, SSOP, HACCP, and related records. \- Supervise field activities and ensure Quality standards. \- Participate in internal/external audits and manage action plans. \- Support training sessions, drills, and development programs. \- Identify non-conformities, risks, and report incidents. \- Evaluate suppliers and raw materials. \- Manage documentation, reports, and assist in incident investigations.
