Technical Support Intern

Requirements
* Students in their final semesters or recent graduates in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
* Basic knowledge of installation and configuration of peripheral devices (printers, keyboards, mice, etc.).
* Basic knowledge of hardware and software technical support.
* Basic proficiency with Windows operating systems.
* Basic knowledge of networks, connectivity, and the internet.
* Basic proficiency with office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, or others).
* Desired: Interest in learning and developing within the technical support field.
Responsibilities
* Provide basic technical support to users for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
* Handle first-level technical incidents, following established procedures and escalating complex cases to responsible personnel.
* Assist with basic installation and configuration of computer equipment and peripherals.
* Conduct initial technical failure diagnostics under supervision.
* Support preventive and corrective maintenance of computer equipment.
* Collaborate in the installation, relocation, and distribution of technological equipment.
* Record incidents, configurations, and support activities performed.
* Assist with basic configuration of printers, access points, and local networks.
* Collaborate in monitoring the proper functioning of the local network.
* Assist with basic data backup tasks.
* Comply with and support dissemination of information security policies.
* Report technological security risks or incidents promptly.
* Support protection and appropriate use of assigned equipment and access credentials.
* Collaborate in IT department technology projects.
* Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
