




Area: Environment / Territorial Management Contract Type: Full-time Required Experience: Minimum 1 year in GIS management **Position Objective** Support the management, analysis, and spatial representation of geographic and environmental information, ensuring technical data quality and its integration into monitoring, planning, and institutional decision-making projects. **Academic Qualifications** * Required: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Geography or Biology (preference for Biology with GIS specialization). * Desired: Courses or certifications in Geographic Information Systems, remote sensing, or digital cartography. **Technical Competencies** * Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, or equivalent). * Knowledge of remote sensing and satellite image analysis. * Production of thematic maps and technical reports. * Integration of spatial databases with environmental and biological data. * Experience and participation in environmental projects (assessment, monitoring, natural resource management). * Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). **Soft Skills** * Analytical and synthetic thinking. * Attention to detail and technical rigor. * Clear and effective communication with multidisciplinary teams. * Organization and timely delivery. * Proactivity and willingness for continuous learning. **Main Responsibilities** * Process and analyze geographic information related to environmental and biodiversity projects. * Produce maps, models, and technical reports to support decision-making. * Maintain up-to-date institutional spatial databases. * Support environmental impact assessments and natural resource monitoring. * Coordinate with technical and administrative teams to integrate geographic information into projects. **Additional Requirements** * Availability for occasional fieldwork. * Basic knowledge of national environmental regulations. * Desired: Intermediate technical English proficiency.
