**Job Opening:** Rock Drill Mechanic – Mining Project Corporación Grupo Sur del Perú SAC is seeking a **Rock Drill Mechanic** with experience in **preventive and corrective maintenance of drilling equipment**, to join the technical team at the **Tía María Mining Project**. The position requires technically skilled personnel with solid knowledge in **hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems**, oriented toward meeting standards of **safety, quality, and productivity**. **Requirements:** * Minimum of **2 years' experience** performing maintenance on **Rock Drill drilling equipment** (Junjin, Soosan, or similar). * Knowledge of **mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and lubrication**. * Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and drilling system failures. * Technical training in **Automotive Mechanics, Maintenance Mechanics, or related fields** desirable. * Knowledge of **safety protocols in mining operations**. * **Availability to work under a 14x7 schedule.** * Residence in **Arequipa, Moquegua, or Tacna** is desirable. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform **preventive and corrective maintenance** on Rock Drill-type drilling equipment. * Diagnose faults and carry out **mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs**. * Assist in the **planning and execution** of scheduled maintenance activities. * Coordinate with the **Mechanical Supervisor** regarding spare parts and material needs. * Maintain **order, cleanliness, and safety** in the work area. * Record **services performed and report the operational status** of equipment. * Comply with company and client **safety and environmental procedures**. **Working Conditions:** * **Salary:** S/2,500.00 – S/3,000.00 (MYPE regime: half bonus, CTS, and vacation pay). * **Work Schedule:** 14x7. * **Work Location:** Tía María Mining Unit. * **Camp Accommodation:** Lodging and meals provided. * **Contract Duration:** 3 months, with potential continuation in other projects. * **Position Type:** Full-time.
