DESCRIPTION A leading retail sector company is seeking a Public Affairs Director with the following responsibilities: * Lead the mall’s overall operations, ensuring compliance with corporate-level standardized processes, methodologies, and guidelines. * Supervise and guarantee proper administration and execution of the shopping center’s common expenses. * Manage the budget and financial operations of the parking facility. * Administer and resolve operational contingencies that may impact customer experience, such as construction works, crisis situations, or corrective maintenance. * Analyze the operational and commercial performance of tenant stores, considering indicators such as sales, displays, window exhibitions, and promotional campaigns. * Coordinate continuously with the Commercial Management team to ensure proper implementation of the annual Commercial Plan. * Develop and maintain strong, sustainable, and collaborative relationships with local and governmental authorities and the surrounding community (municipalities, regional governments, police, fire department, among others). * Continuously coordinate actions with anchor store managers to ensure aligned and efficient management. * Coordinate with the Marketing Management team to ensure proper execution of the mall’s annual Marketing Plan. * Coordinate with the Projects Management team for timely execution of construction works, as well as proper handover and commissioning. * Administer the shopping center’s petty cash fund, ensuring appropriate control and recordkeeping. * Prepare and present weekly and monthly management reports for decision-making purposes. * Design, propose, and implement sustainability initiatives oriented toward the responsible development of the shopping center. * Represent the company institutionally before external clients and relevant stakeholders. REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields. * Postgraduate specialization or master’s degree in Finance, Cost Management, or similar is desirable. * Proficiency in Windows Office tools, Power BI, and SAP. * Experience managing shopping centers, department stores, or similar establishments.
