You will be responsible for performing mechanical-welding tasks in hot work activities (welding, cutting, grinding, etc). What You’ll Do Prepare pre-work documentation according to internal procedures and regulations. Assess and complete safety forms before commencing activities. Perform tasks safely, orderly, and cleanly at all times. Install equipment and tools for crusher change-outs, SAG mill liners, and balls. Operate pneumatic and hydraulic tools for removing bolts, washers, and liners. Perform maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on equipment, verifying pressure and torque per specifications. Coordinate equipment inspection and calibration, perform measurements, and interpret technical drawings. Apply quality and safety standards, manage resources, support scaffolding and warehouse operations, and propose continuous improvements. Who We’re Looking For Graduate or technical diploma holder in maintenance mechanics, instrumentation, production mechanics, electrical engineering, or related fields; or completion of secondary education. Five years of experience in concentrator plant maintenance for hands-on personnel and three years for technical personnel. Knowledge of operating tools—including controlled and uncontrolled torque pneumatic and hydraulic tools—and handling suspended loads. Proficiency in welding equipment and oxy-fuel cutting.
