**Job Description**
* Performs physical, chemical, or microbiological analyses using predetermined techniques to meet service requirements within the department, adhering to all safety regulations, quality control standards, organizational policies, and environmental policies.
* Participates in updating or developing new methodologies, including method execution, result recording, data processing, and preparation of procedures and protocols as required.
* Operates, supports, and maintains optimal functionality of equipment and supplies related to assigned duties, and is responsible for reporting malfunctions or replacement needs.
**Requirements**
* Formal Education: Chemical Analyst, Secondary-Level Technician, Higher-Level Technician, University Technician, Professional Technician, or other qualifications oriented toward Chemistry, Microbiology, or Biotechnology, depending on the service area.
* Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
* Essential Competencies: Practical and theoretical knowledge of analytical methods specific to the service area.
* Knowledge: Laboratory equipment operation and procedures; safety regulations and traceability requirements for sample handling.
