Because the challenges you'll take on reflect your ambitions! **Responsibilities and attributions** **OBJECTIVE** ------------ Define the competencies, scope, responsibilities, and tasks that the Infrastructure and Cloud Analyst position will have for developing its activities. **RESPONSIBILITIES** --------------------- * Gather information from various sources such as the deep/dark web, open-source intelligence (OSINT), specialized forums, and internal security tools. * Evaluate and contextualize collected data to identify tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), as well as Indicators of Compromise (IoCs), used by threat actors. * Develop detailed reports and/or bulletins and presentations explaining the threat landscape to different audiences, from technical staff to senior management. * Provide crucial information to response teams to accelerate containment, mitigation, and recovery from a cyberattack. * Proactively search for undetected malicious activities within the organization's network based on threat intelligence. * Help the organization understand its vulnerabilities and prioritize security measures to strengthen its cyber resilience. **Requirements and qualifications** **TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS** ---------------------------------------- * Understand protocols (TCP/IP), firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and traffic analysis (e.g., using Wireshark). * Be able to analyze, disassemble, and reverse-engineer malicious software (malware). * Know how to search for information on the public web, *deep web*, and use tools like Shodan or Censys, or other open-source intelligence (OSINT) sources. * Experience handling threat intelligence platforms (TIP) and security information and event management (SIEM) systems such as Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, etc. * Basic knowledge of Python or Bash to automate data collection and analysis. * Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK to understand attacker tactics and techniques. * Basic understanding of forensic analysis to investigate compromised systems. * Understanding of cloud environment security (AWS, Azure, etc.) to identify risks. * Ability to process large volumes of data and find patterns to identify threats. **COMPETENCIES** ---------------- * Critical thinking * Problem solving * Research ability * Attention to detail * Strategic thinking * Effective communication * Teamwork and collaboration * Adaptability * Empathy and attacker mindset * Emotional intelligence **EDUCATION** ------------- * Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity engineering, computer science, systems, or similar. * Desired certifications: CTIA, GCTI, ISO 27001 * Previous experience in security roles (e.g., SOC Analyst or Incident Response) of no less than 2 years.
