RESPONSIBILITIES: · Daily 5-minute safety talk. · Verify Pre\-use and IPERC implementation. · Verify compliance with written safe work procedures (PETS) for calcium oxide transportation. · Visual inspection of calcium oxide cargo units (emergency kit, minimum safety equipment, documentation, alcohol testing). · Verification and filing of safety records (safety talks, IPERC, inspections, route sheets, checklists, Pre\-Use, incidents, others). · Coordinate and manage scheduled health and safety activities. · Field supervision of various scheduled tasks. · Review database of transporters and own personnel (vehicle document validity, training courses, medical exams, permits). · Comply with regulations, standards, and specific instructions applicable to the work area; promote teamwork within operational activities and the management system. · Schedule and conduct daily inspections to identify hazards and assess risks, implementing respective plans to mitigate or eliminate them. · Conduct general inductions, re-inductions, and/or awareness sessions for new personnel, report substandard acts. · Follow-up on incident reports. · Monitor correction of observations and implementation of corrective actions in the field. · Carry out planned weekly inspections. · Monitor housekeeping and solid waste management at the plant. · Participate and coordinate safety activities within the occupational health and safety committee. · Prepare and monitor the monthly SSOMA supervision program. · Develop internal training programs on safety, occupational health, and environmental topics in coordination with operational supervisors; also coordinate external training execution. · Conduct and participate in internal SSOMA inspections, audits, and/or certifications, or those conducted by/for suppliers and/or clients. · Follow up on implementation of recommended corrective measures. · Prepare monthly report on health and safety performance in operational and administrative areas of the business unit. · Report SSOMA performance of operational supervision and other departments. · Promote a culture of Quality, Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment. · Verify and inform the respective area manager to timely control risks arising from reported substandard conditions or actions by staff, inspectors, the occupational health and safety committee, or regional government officials. · Request SCTR documents and coordinate personnel passes for M\&CALERA SANTA S.A.C. to enter mine sites and client facilities according to established procedures. · Request necessary resources for implementation and execution of the annual health and safety program. · Maintain safety statistics (preparation and completion of statistical tables requested by client and internal use, calculation of man-hours, and completion of workforce data required by client). · Submit monthly request for Personal Protective Equipment and other safety devices in coordination with the Warehouse Manager. · Comply with and promote adherence to Quality, Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental objectives; ensure the Integrated Management System achieves intended outcomes and continuous improvement. · Perform any additional assigned duties, demonstrating leadership in areas of responsibility. · Participate in updating health and safety management tools. · Participate in developing and updating written safe work standards and procedures in coordination with area supervisors and workers. · Identify improvement opportunities in SSOMA management across operations. · Disseminate and verify compliance with SSOMA standards and operational procedures. · Participate in developing hazard identification, risk assessment, and control determination matrices for organizational processes. · Participate in developing environmental aspects identification, environmental impact assessment, and control matrices for organizational processes. · Coordinate execution of monitoring of occupational agents and follow up on recommendations. · Client validation of our health and safety management tools. · Preparation of the annual occupational health and safety plan.
