A leading company in the Technology sector is seeking top talent to fill the position of **GL Analyst!** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Maintain accounting entries in recurring modules applicable to assigned entities\-Cost Management\-Lease Engine and Prepayments EBS * Perform financial calculations and execute test scenarios to validate financial impacts of Leases * Evaluate and document capitalization requests (LAR) in accordance with IFRS 16 financial standards * Integrate and reconcile B\&L and P\&L accounts (General Ledger vs. Subledger) * Monitor reconciling items and account aging * Ensure proper recognition flow for provisions and reasonableness of related figures * Provide support to business units on accounting recognition (costs and expenses) * Guarantee accurate recording of reclassifications and adjustments to BS/P\&L accounts * Support finance teams through analysis of historical trends, serving as the foundation for Budget and quarterly working capital\-OFCF forecasting * Execute monthly financial close and deliver figures by established deadlines * Report monthly (accounting) figures in FCCS for Millicom’s financial consolidation * Develop Accounting KPIs (Inventories, leases, prepayments, accruals, Other Current\-Non-current Assets, Liabilities, debt, others) * Execute and document SOX/Non-SOX controls assigned * Provide documentary support during quarterly and annual financial and tax audits * Prepare account analytics\-variance analysis for financial audits **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field * 1 to 1.5 years of experience in roles such as Accounting Analyst, IFRS Analyst, or GL Accountant (preferred) * Fluent English, both spoken and written (preferred) * ERP proficiency mandatory (Oracle\-SAP); advanced Excel skills; basic database knowledge * Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven * Collaborative work ethic, proactivity, and adaptability * Strong communication and idea articulation skills * Financial knowledge: IFRS/USGAAP
