Job Summary: We are seeking a Safety Engineer for an open-pit gold mine, responsible for safety in mining operations. Key Highlights: 1. Be part of the safety team for open-pit mining operations. ***Safety Engineer*** for the Corihuarmi Mining Unit, located 4 hours from Huancayo, Junín, at an altitude of over 4,800 msnm. Current work schedule is 20 days on / 10 days off, with a gross salary of **S/2,500.00**, **NON-NEGOTIABLE**. * Minimum 3 years of experience in open-pit mining operations. * Registered and licensed professional. This vacancy is for direct employment under the payroll of the mine's owner/operator company — NOT a contract position. You will receive all legally mandated benefits applicable to private-sector employees (CTS, AFP/ONP, bonuses, family allowance for your children, etc.). Salary payments are made during the first few days of the month following the worked month. For example: October's salary is paid in early November; November's salary is paid in early December, and so on. We are an open-pit gold mine located 4 hours from the city of Huancayo at an altitude of 4,900+ msnm. Here, we provide accommodation, meals, and personal protective equipment (PPE) at the mine camp. The internet available on-site is not very robust and does not support video calls or WhatsApp calls, nor any other internet/cellular application-based calls. Some workers have jointly subscribed to private internet service, but this is a personal decision and at their own expense.
