




Job Summary: A Safety Supervisor is required for the Antamina Mining Unit, responsible for coordinating implementation of the Annual Safety, Health, and Environment Program. Key Highlights: 1. Lead safety, occupational health, and environmental management at the mining unit. 2. Conduct field supervision and identify substandard acts/conditions. 3. Instruct and ensure compliance with safety regulations and practices. A Safety Supervisor is required to join the operations team at the Antamina Mining Unit. The professional will be responsible for implementing scheduled activities within the Annual Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment Program. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate with area supervisors of the company to ensure implementation of scheduled activities within the Annual Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment Program. Conduct field supervision to identify substandard conditions/acts and take immediate corrective actions, as well as recognize on-site personnel’s good performance to reinforce safe behaviors. Ensure and review hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control. Deliver training to personnel on safety and occupational health topics, in accordance with Supreme Decree No. 024-2016 and its amendment Supreme Decree No. 023-2017. Maintain up-to-date physical and digital documentation related to the Integrated EHS Management System based on ISO standards. Instruct and enforce compliance with regulations, standards, Safe Work Practices (PETS), and safe work procedures. Ensure that control measures established in IPERC risk matrices are implemented at the operational site. Job Requirements: Licensed and registered professional in Occupational Hygiene and Safety Engineering, Mining Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields. Minimum 3 years of experience in the mining sector; fieldwork experience is mandatory. 2 years of experience in pumping systems — mandatory. Advanced knowledge of ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 standards. Advanced knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control. Advanced knowledge of Peruvian regulations on Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment. Advanced knowledge of the Mining Occupational Safety and Health Regulation (Supreme Decree No. 024-2016) and its amendment. Driver’s license Class A-I (desirable). Availability to work under a 14x7 shift schedule in Huari – Ancash. Residence in Ancash or nearby areas (desirable).
