**JOB DESCRIPTION** **1\. POSITION OBJECTIVE** To verify the quality of inputs (raw materials and packaging materials) entering the laboratory meets established quality specifications through their analysis. **2\. GENERAL FUNCTIONS AND SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES** * Responsible for performing physicochemical analyses of inputs. * Sample and analyze raw materials entering the warehouse. * Keep the raw material sampling record up to date. * Assist in sampling and analyzing primary and secondary packaging materials. * Correctly complete the records used in carrying out assigned activities. * Receive, store, and manage counter-samples of inputs. * Review, classify, destroy, and register expired input counter-samples: raw materials and primary packaging materials. * Perform analyses of inputs according to technical specifications and established analytical methodologies. * Sample, analyze, and record tests for water analysis as per the water sampling and analysis program. * Attend general training sessions and internal team training on technical topics and the Quality System, and undergo required evaluations. * Report any non-conformities detected or questions arising to immediate supervisor. * Perform other duties assigned by the Quality Control Manager. **POSITION PROFILE EDUCATION** * Professional degree and registration as a Pharmaceutical Chemist or related field; Bachelor of Pharmacy. **TRAINING** * Knowledge of GMP and GLP * Desired knowledge of ISO 17025:2017 standard * Proficiency in office software * Intermediate level English language skills desirable * Experience handling laboratory equipment **SKILLS** * Planning and organization or Analytical thinking **EXPERIENCE** * Minimum of 1 year of experience in similar roles within the pharmaceutical industry is desirable.
