Position Summary: We are seeking Heavy Equipment Mechanical Technicians for preventive and corrective maintenance of yellow-line equipment, with emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork. Koelsa Perú S.R.L. is currently seeking experienced **Heavy Equipment Mechanical Technicians** specializing in yellow-line equipment maintenance to join our operations. We seek individuals committed to safety, quality, and teamwork, capable of adapting to demanding environments and focused on achieving objectives. **Main Responsibilities** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on yellow-line equipment. * Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical failures in heavy machinery. * Conduct field inspections and technical evaluations of equipment. * Identify, record, and report failures, substandard conditions, and maintenance requirements. * Manage spare parts and component requests for yellow-line equipment. * Use CAT ET / CAT SIS diagnostic tools. * Interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics and technical manuals. * Conduct operational tests and post-maintenance verifications. * Comply with mining safety standards and work procedures. **Requirements** * Heavy Equipment Mechanical Technician, Automotive Mechanic, or related technical degree. * Proven experience maintaining yellow-line equipment (e.g., Front-end Loaders, Excavators, Crawler Tractors, Motor Graders, Rollers, Backhoe Loaders, etc.). * Minimum 2 years’ experience in mining operations or projects. * Knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and diesel engines. * Proficiency with diagnostic tools and technical manual interpretation. * Valid A2B driver’s license (preferred). * Availability to work under mining shift schedules and on-site. * Ability to work effectively in teams and under pressure.
