Job Summary: Supervise pomegranate harvesting and contract processing operations to ensure quality standards, food safety, customer requirements, traceability, and agro-export certifications. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure quality and safety of pomegranates for export 2. Coordinate departments for traceability and regulatory compliance 3. Train staff on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Mission: Guarantee that fresh fruit — pomegranates — from harvest through packing and dispatch complies with **quality, food safety, and customer requirements**, by supervising operations in **harvesting and contract processing**, ensuring traceability and adherence to agro-export certification standards. Responsibilities: Supervise and verify compliance with **pomegranate quality standards** across all process stages: **harvesting and contract processing**. Control quality of **pomegranate varieties intended for export**, from receipt through dispatch, ensuring compliance with export parameters (color, size, Brix degrees, firmness, absence of defects, etc.). Supervise **contract processing and packing operations**, ensuring proper selection, washing, grading, and packaging of the product. Perform quality control during **harvesting**, verifying that selection processes meet specified parameters. Coordinate with production, food safety, logistics, and maintenance departments to ensure **traceability** and compliance with customer requirements. Record inspection results, issue non-conformance reports, and propose corrective actions. Train operational staff on **Good Agricultural Practices (GAP)** and **Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)**. Requirements: Technical or university degree in Agro-industrial Engineering, Agronomy, Food Industries, or related fields. Desirable training or knowledge in quality management systems, GMP, GAP, HACCP, Global G.A.P., BRC, or other agro-export certifications. Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar positions.
