The Petroleum and Chemicals Inspector carries out inspections and/or supervision of hydrocarbons and chemical products according to the instructions provided by the client. Responsible for supervising personnel activities and their execution in accordance with technical, safety, and environmental policies and standards of the area and division. **FUNCTIONS** \* Supervise loading and unloading operations at plants and/or terminals and/or vessels and/or barges. \* Monitor and ensure flow continuity from discharge point to storage location prior to operation start. Ensure measured volume is accurate by accounting for hydrocarbon volumes present in lines/piping between start and end points of flow for correct measurement of transferred volume. \* Perform ullage or sounding measurements, temperature readings, and water cut tests on static tanks at refineries or plants according to API standards. \* Calculate product quantities, observed and corrected temperatures according to standards. Issue inspection reports and be responsible for every data entry included in the report. \* Coordinate before, during, and after operations with plant supervisors, Master, Loading Master, Captain, regarding all events and calculations related to assigned services. \* Be responsible for hydrocarbon sample collection. \* Carry out inspections according to nomination and established procedures. \* Accurately record field inspection data on required forms. \* Be responsible for sample safety during transport and delivery to laboratory. \* Communicate all operational progress in the field to clients. \* Identify hazards, risks, and significant impacts affecting current and future performance; immediately inform Operations Manager verbally and in writing. \* Actively participate in Occupational Health and Safety regulations by attending safety talks delivered by the Safety Officer, either virtually or in person. \* Be responsible for knowing all WSS Perú policies. \* Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager / Division Manager.
