Currently, we are looking for an **Operational Technician** interested in developing their skills and gaining experience. **FUNCTIONS:** * Perform daily verification (Bump test) of portable gas detectors at the beginning of work shifts; for fixed gas detectors, verification is conducted in the field. * Verify proper operation of equipment after calibration. * Conduct continuous and mandatory inspections of both portable and fixed gas detection equipment. * Control portable gas detection equipment. * Monitor entry and exit of portable gas detection equipment. * Perform maintenance on portable and fixed gas detection equipment: interior and exterior, considering the equipment's area of use. * Comply with standards, PETS, and established safe work practices within the Occupational Health and Safety Management System. * Apply manufacturer manual instructions (precautions and warnings) when performing maintenance or replacing components of the equipment being serviced. * Comply with SMCV directives, directly following orders from the Supervising Engineer in charge of our area. * Immediately report any anomalies in fixed detectors, as well as expired sensors. * Maintain operation and maintenance manuals for fixed gas detectors and SDSs for chemicals used. * Carry out all operations and maneuvers safely, ensuring personal safety and that of coworkers. * Coordinate with instrumentation personnel and affected areas the start and end of calibration tests. * Immediately report any incident, unsafe act, or substandard condition to the supervisor. * Do not come to work under the influence of alcohol or drugs, nor bring such substances into the workplace. * Identify hazards, assess risks, and apply control measures established in PETS, PETAR, and CONTINUOUS IPERC at the beginning of work shifts, before starting activities in high-risk zones, and prior to any activity posing a risk to personal integrity. * Properly use equipment, tools, and transportation units. * Do not handle or operate machinery, valves, pipelines, or electrical conductors unless properly trained and duly authorized. * Declare any medical condition that could worsen due to working at heights or other factors during job activities. * Develop and propose activities for process improvement in the area, comply with guidelines, norms, and standards set by the company's Management System, and monitor the start and end of calibration tests. * Immediately report any incident, unsafe act, or substandard condition to the supervisor. * Do not come to work under the influence of alcohol or drugs, nor bring such substances into the workplace. * Identify hazards, assess risks, and apply control measures established in PETS, PETAR, and CONTINUOUS IPERC at the beginning of work shifts, before starting activities in high-risk zones, and prior to any activity posing a risk to personal integrity. * Properly use equipment, tools, and transportation units. * Comply with internal disciplinary sanctions, identify improvement opportunities and/or implement corrective actions to enhance processes, review and update work instructions, forms, and procedures related to job functions. * Operate vehicles under optimal safety conditions, complying with current regulations and traffic rules. * (Company and Project): review, verify, and maintain control over general vehicle conditions, know and follow current traffic regulations (National and Project), record mileage traveled and fuel consumed. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Technical or Systems Engineering degree, Electronics Technician. * Metrology courses. * Electronics courses. * Specialization in electronics or IT. * Proficiency in office software (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). * Basic English. **EXPERIENCE:** * 1 to 2 years of experience in similar positions. * Minimum of 1 year of experience in the mining industry. **BENEFITS:** * Opportunities for professional development and constant training. * Career path. * Continuous training. * Formal employment. * Dynamic, inclusive, and collaborative work environment. **We know people make the difference.
