Position Summary: Creates an uplifting environment in the temple by maintaining pure ordinances and providing essential support for ordinance clothing. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensures the purity and accuracy of temple ordinances. 2. Provides an uplifting experience for temple visitors. 3. Handles commercial laundry and sewing for temple clothing. Ensures temple ordinances remain pure, are accurately recorded, and are available to worthy Church members by: Providing an environment where patrons can have a positive and uplifting experience each time they visit the temple. Maintaining and operating temples according to standards established by the First Presidency. Also provides support by supplying the necessary clothing for ordinances used in temples by patrons, workers, employees, and volunteers. * Folds clothing and prepares temple clothing packages, ensuring continuous availability of garments for workers. * Operates commercial laundry equipment, removes stains using appropriate products, and assists with steam pressing. * Sorts soiled clothing and keeps the work area clean, organized, and in optimal condition. * Operates assigned sewing machines to tailor, repair, or modify clothing according to requirements. * Keeps the sewing room and storage cabinets organized. * Periodically reviews supply inventories and manages restocking as needed. * High school diploma or equivalent. * Six months to one year of experience in commercial laundry, specifically in linen and laundry operations with cash register or sewing and laundry equipment. * Ability to communicate effectively, work collaboratively in a team, demonstrate a service-oriented attitude, pay attention to detail, and provide excellent customer service. * Availability to work rotating shifts and holidays.
