Job Summary: We are seeking a Mining Electrician Technician for operations in Arequipa, responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical equipment inside mines. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in maintenance and repair of electric motors and electrical panels. 2. Knowledge of interpreting electrical drawings and circuits. 3. Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on mining equipment. On behalf of our client, a contractor in the mining sector, we are seeking a **Mining Electrician Technician** to join their operations in Arequipa. **Requirements:** * Technical degree in Industrial Electricity, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrician Technician or Instrumentation Technician. * Knowledge of interpreting and reading electrical and electronic drawings and circuits. * Knowledge and experience in assembling and repairing electrical distribution, power, and control panels. * Knowledge and experience in maintenance and repair of electric motors ranging from 0.5HP to 300HP. * Availability to work under a 20x10 work schedule. **Responsibilities:** * Identify hazards and assess risks in their work area by applying controls; comply with safety management tools such as written permits for high-risk work (PETAR), written safe work procedures (PETS), and other required documentation. * Perform preventive, corrective maintenance, and repair work on electric motors used in locomotives, hoist winches, drag winches, compressors, and all other electrical equipment utilized in underground mining exploitation processes. * Perform preventive, corrective maintenance, repair, and assembly of electrical distribution, starting, and power panels for locomotives, hoist winches, drag winches, compressors, battery banks, and all other electrical equipment utilized in underground mining exploitation processes. * Carry out periodic repairs or repairs due to failures of electrical components in locomotives, hoist winches, drag winches, compressors, and other equipment used in mining operations and auxiliary activities. * Conduct inspections, maintenance, and installation of electrical systems for equipment (fixed and mobile) used in the production cycle and other auxiliary activities. **BENEFITS** * Travel allowances covered. * Benefits under the general payroll regime. * Market-competitive salary.
