Job Summary:
Support the blasting process by operating auxiliary equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate various auxiliary equipment during blasting operations
2. Perform measurements, priming, and support in loading blastholes
3. Support unloading of raw materials and explosives
**JOB OBJECTIVE:**
Support the blasting process by operating auxiliary equipment to ensure it is carried out as efficiently and safely as possible.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Operate various auxiliary equipment used in blasting operations.
* Use equipment in its different configurations (e.g., with grab bucket, side-dump bucket, etc.) to cap blastholes and/or transport material, following prescribed sequences.
* Inspect equipment at the start and end of each shift, completing required documentation.
* Verify proper equipment functionality.
* Transport equipment and materials to and from the blasting area.
* Perform measurements, priming, tying, and support during blasthole loading.
* Support loading of pre-split blastholes.
* Support unloading of raw materials and explosives at site and in the explosives magazine.
**REQUIREMENTS:**
* Completed secondary education (technical training preferred).
* Minimum 2 years of experience in blasting operations.
* Minimum 1 year transporting explosives and/or auxiliary equipment (e.g., 5T van, mini loader, 930 loader, front-end loader, crane truck).
* Valid driver's license AIIB mandatory.
* Auxiliary equipment operation certification desirable
