Job Summary: We are seeking a Machine & Tools Operator to perform machinery operation activities, ensuring compliance with drawings, standards, and quality, safety, and occupational health requirements. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operate machine tools such as vertical lathes, horizontal lathes, boring mills, and milling machines. 2. Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation, using standards and specifications. 3. Comply with quality specifications and standards, proposing continuous improvements. Job Description We are looking for talent for the position of Machine & Tools Operator to carry out machine tool operation activities, ensuring that these are performed in accordance with drawings, technical documents, standards, technical specifications, and quality standards; following the guidelines of the Quality, Safety, and Occupational Health Management System. What You Will Do Operate machine tools such as vertical lathes, horizontal lathes, boring mills, milling machines, and others, in accordance with operating instructions, standards, procedures, specifications, and manufacturer recommendations. Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation, applying material standards, specifications, and tolerance requirements. Use required measuring instruments, properly calibrated and certified, to ensure strict compliance with requirements specified in drawings and technical documents. Knowledge of mineral processing equipment. Comply with specifications provided in drawings and documentation, adhering to quality standards. Propose best practices to keep work procedures up to date and support continuous improvement. Maintain your work equipment in optimal operating and safety conditions. Immediately report any deviations from established procedures. Perform other duties assigned by your supervisor. Required Professional Profile Three-year Technical Higher Education degree. Minimum 3 years of professional experience performing similar functions in machining of large-tonnage mining equipment (desirable) or large-scale precision industrial equipment. Proficiency in operating machine tools: vertical lathes, boring mills, milling machines, horizontal lathes, drilling machines. Metrology and interpretation of engineering drawings.
