We are seeking a SOMA (Occupational Safety and Health Management System) Engineer for a transportation company, responsible for developing and updating risk matrices, conducting field inspections, and managing occupational safety.

Requirements
* Degree in Occupational Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
* Occupational Safety and Health training course (minimum 120 hours).
* Familiarity with data analysis tools.
* Minimum one year of experience in similar positions.
* Leadership and organized management skills.
* Analytical thinking and commitment to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
* Develop and update risk matrices, annual safety plans, procedures, and emergency protocols, ensuring compliance with current legislation and regulations.
* Conduct field inspections to identify hazards and verify compliance with safety standards for facilities, tools, equipment, and vehicles, establishing preventive and corrective measures.
* Plan and deliver training on safety, first aid, use of PPE, and emergency procedures; coordinate the formation of emergency response teams and conduct drills.
* Manage PPE usage, stock control, and procurement requirements, ensuring availability and proper use by personnel.
* Investigate occupational incidents and accidents, determine root causes, and propose corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
* Monitor vehicles via GPS, supervising routes, deviations, unauthorized stops, and suspicious situations, maintaining constant communication with drivers and operators.
* Supervise compliance with established procedures by drivers and operators, promptly reporting any non-compliance or risk situations.
Working Conditions
* Combined office and field work, with frequent presence at the operational base and route supervision.
* Constant interaction with drivers, operators, and supervisors to verify compliance with safety regulations.
* Mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during field inspections.
* Travel required for vehicle supervision and operational control.
* Responsibility level focused on monitoring and follow-up of regulatory compliance, without final decision-making authority regarding disciplinary actions or sanctions.
* Strict adherence to safety reporting, recordkeeping, and performance indicators.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. \- 5:30 p.m.
Saturday: 8:00 a.m. \- 1:00 p.m. Sunday: Off
Remuneration: S/ 1,800\.
The salary is negotiable depending on professional experience, SOMA expertise, and relevant experience related to job responsibilities.
Salary: S/.1,800\.00 per month
