Job Summary: Responsible for executing the electronic initiation process of blasting, coordinating tasks, designing blasts, and generating reports. Key Highlights: 1. Electronic blasting execution to ensure proper detonation. 2. Blasting design, programming, connection, and detonation. 3. Post-blast reporting and result tracking. **Mission or Objective**: Execute the electronic blasting initiation process to ensure correct detonation according to client requirements. **Responsibilities**: * Plan and coordinate tasks with personnel involved in blasting operations. * Ensure adequate stock levels of Daveytronic products at the site. * Perform blasting design, programming, connection, verification, charging, and detonation. * Collect blasting process data and generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on key performance indicators, progress, anomalies, downstream post-blast result tracking support, and improvement opportunities. * Conduct product training sessions covering features and properties. * Ensure customer needs are met by addressing their requirements and expectations. * Coordinate blasting activities with the client and provide process reports. **Requirements**: * Minimum 1 year of mining experience preferred. * Mining Technician or related field degree. * Knowledge of blasting processes preferred. * Class A2b or A1 driver's license preferred (minimum 3 years validity).
