Position Summary: We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to perform financial recordkeeping, bank reconciliations, and support accounting processes at a leading company in Arequipa. Key Highlights: 1. Accounting experience: accounting assistant, accounting intern. 2. Knowledge of Accounting Standards, accounting software, and SUNAT. 3. Support in recording purchases, payments, and fixed assets. DESCRIPTION: A recognized company in Arequipa, distinguished in the field of labor outsourcing and intermediation, is currently seeking top talent to fill the position of Accounting Assistant. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum education: Currently enrolled (minimum 6th semester) in Accounting and Finance or related fields. Minimum experience / duration: At least 6 months of accounting experience in roles such as Accounting Assistant or Accounting Intern. Availability: Immediate. Computer system proficiency: \- Microsoft Office (Intermediate/Advanced level). KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of Accounting Standards regarding withholding taxes. Knowledge of accounting software. Knowledge of accounting processes. Knowledge of using the SUNAT website. WORK SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. FUNCTIONS: For payments and others: Record individual supplier payments (those not processable via bulk payment systems). Record payroll payments to employees. Perform bank reconciliations, excluding Banco de la Nación and credit cards. For payroll and others: Record payroll expenses, reclassifications, recalculation of social benefits, and account analysis. Record and control prepaid expenses. Record customer invoice collections. For fixed assets and others: Record fixed assets and depreciation. Support in recording purchases and payroll payments. Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
