Job Summary: We are seeking an SSOMA Engineer to supervise and ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations in projects. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead the supervision of occupational safety and health standards. 2. Develop and implement SSOMA plans for projects. 3. Promote a culture of prevention and safety awareness. R\&E INNOVA SAC is a service-oriented company specializing in Engineering and Projects. We specialize in the Design and Production of metal-mechanical structures, grating manufacturing, execution of Civil, Electrical, Mechanical works, and General Maintenance. We are currently seeking an **SSOMA ENGINEER**: * Degree-holding, licensed, and registered professional in Industrial Engineering, Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum 3 years of experience in similar positions, preferably in metal structures. * Proficiency in Office software, Basic English, and training courses/diplomas in Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment. * Experience supervising high-risk activities such as work at height, hot work, lifting operations, and handling hazardous chemicals. Main Responsibilities: * Supervise compliance with Occupational Safety and Health standards, internal procedures, and client requirements. * Develop, update, and implement the Safety, Health, and Environmental Management (SSOMA) Plan for the project, ensuring adherence throughout all phases. * Verify proper preparation and application of IPERC, ATS, PETS, and work permits. * Conduct safety talks, onboarding sessions for new personnel, and periodic training on safety, health, and environmental topics. * Monitor high-risk activities including work at height, load lifting, hot work, excavations, confined space entry, and electrical work. * Ensure tools, equipment, machinery, and vehicles used on site are in safe and operational condition. * Investigate accidents and incidents, report findings, and follow up on corrective actions to prevent recurrence. * Commit to continuous improvement and comply with the Integrated Management System. * Supervise all project activities related to safety, health, and environment. * Verify, supervise, and inspect the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to minimize risks, accidents, unsafe acts, and occupational illnesses. * Review and execute emergency response and first aid plans. * Promote a preventive culture by raising staff awareness of the importance of safety and health, and encouraging best practices in the workplace. * Organize team workload, set objectives, and minimize errors. * Identify hazards and environmental aspects, assess associated risks and environmental impacts, and establish control measures according to job responsibilities. * Other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
