This is it! **We are seeking an intern: Device Assurance Intern** **Project duration: 6 months** **Location: Campus Tigo | Tuscania | El Salvador** **General Objective:** Ensure the appropriate quality and network integration of devices used across our network—including TV set-top boxes, cable modems, ONTs, signal extenders, etc.—so they deliver optimal technical performance according to their specifications, thereby enhancing customer experience with our service across all business units and technologies. **Responsibilities:** * Support the proper execution of technical testing processes for both mobile and fixed devices, ensuring consistent communication with relevant internal departments. * Support accurate SLA measurement and contract execution with third parties regarding refurbished and/or vendor services for mobile and residential device batches entering inventory for distribution as required. * Assist in certification testing of devices required for local projects within scope, as well as resolution of identified technical issues. * Support continuous improvement processes and equipment review (quality check & remanufacturing) to ensure device quality. * Support preparation of metrics and performance reports on device technical performance. * Support continuous improvement initiatives for fixed-device performance inside customer residences to enhance customer satisfaction. * Support analysis of the impact of residential device issues affecting customers, examining variables to identify and implement root-cause solutions. **Requirements:** **Currently enrolled in the 4th or 5th year of Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields** **Data Analysis** **Data analysis** and problem-solving skills **Teamwork** and motivation **Goal orientation** **Critical thinking** Desirable knowledge in: ✅ **Quality processes** and best practices **Lean Management**, **Six Sigma**, and other methodologies **Telecommunications** ### **We Offer:** * **Compensation: $300 per month** * **Flexible working hours** to accommodate your classes. * **Transportation** to and from **Campus Tigo**. ‍ * **LinkedIn Learning license** to boost your professional development. **#Internship #TigoElSalvador #Telecommunications #ProfessionalGrowth #InternshipOpportunity** Our people are the soul of Tigo El Salvador. Do you have experience leading safety and environmental care in operational environments? This opportunity is for you! At Servicios Generales Armane, with over 15 years providing comprehensive maintenance solutions, industrial painting, civil works, industrial metal-mechanics, we are seeking an SSOMA Supervisor—responsible, proactive, and experienced in general services (as detailed above)—to perform field supervision. Your mission will be to ensure that all our activities are carried out under strict safety, occupational health, and environmental protection standards. If you are passionate about creating safe and sustainable workplaces, we want you on our team! Requirements: - Hold a degree in engineering, be professionally licensed and duly registered. - Have experience in civil works, metal-mechanical projects, and, in general, GENERAL SERVICES. - Availability to work extended hours. - Minimum two years of experience as an SSOMA SUPERVISOR. - Strong communication skills and proficiency in technology. - Knowledge of Integrated Management Systems and Occupational Health and Safety. Responsibilities: - Conduct daily safety talks. - Supervise work areas. - Develop and update Integrated Management System documents in accordance with new legal regulations and/or incidents (plans, programs, forms, IPERC, PETS, etc.). - Support timely submission of required SSOMA reports to clients. - Distribute personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain delivery records for personnel. - Organize electronic files on laptop (SIG updates). - Develop, deliver, and disseminate work procedures and risk matrices. - Conduct field inspections; track incident/accident reports; implement corrective action plans. - Provide documentary support and weekly reports and/or evidence of compliance with the client’s annual SSOMA plan. - Conduct homologation audits per client request, and deliver safety, occupational health, and environmental training to workers. - Develop IPERC matrices. - Perform other duties assigned by management.
