**Role Objective:** Support the blasting process by operating auxiliary equipment to ensure it is carried out as efficiently and safely as possible. **Key Responsibilities:** * Inspect equipment at the start and end of each shift, completing all required documentation. * Transport equipment and materials to and from the blasting area. * Operate the equipment in its various configurations to cap blast holes and/or transport material, adhering strictly to prescribed sequences. * Perform measurement, priming, stemming, and loading support for blast holes. * Assist in unloading raw materials and explosives at the site and in the magazine. * Report hazardous situations immediately to the relevant supervisor. **Requirements:** * Mandatory: Completed secondary education. * Preferred: 2 years’ experience in blasting operations. * Preferred: 1 year’s experience transporting explosives and/or auxiliary equipment. * Preferred: 2 years’ experience operating an explosives van. * Mandatory: Valid A2B driver’s license. * Preferred: Certification in operation of auxiliary equipment.
