**We are a nationally reputable company in land-based freight transportation.** We are seeking a **LOGISTICS ASSISTANT** **REQUIREMENTS:** - Technical degree in computing, informatics, or related fields. - Minimum 6 months of experience in similar positions and GPS platform operation. Intermediate-level proficiency in IT tools, intermediate Excel, Power Pivot. - Experience with transportation KPIs (desirable). Knowledge of Peruvian geography. ***FUNCTIONS:*** Track vehicles using the GPS system, including stops, tolls, and on-route axle weight measurements; maintain constant communication with drivers from origin to destination. Report accidents, incidents, or any anomalies involving vehicles in transit to the Fleet Manager and coordinate with them regarding authorization for vehicle movement in or out. Prepare vehicle location sheets and vehicle arrival schedules. Prepare fuel consumption performance tables per vehicle. Generate vehicle checklist reports and monitor maintenance activities and optimal operating conditions for each vehicle. Monitor GPS route-tracking alerts.
