Job Summary: We are seeking technical personnel with experience in cargo lifting for plant and mine shutdown maintenance, operating heavy machinery and telescopic cranes. Key Highlights: 1. We are a company based in Lima providing plant and mine shutdown maintenance services and renting heavy machinery and telescopic cranes. Currently, we have an ongoing large-scale project with our client MINERA CHINALCO located in the Toromocho area at 4,500 m above sea level. With over four years of proven experience, successful candidates will work under the standard 2x1 shift system, with formal payroll and all legally mandated benefits. For candidates from provinces, the company covers transportation fares and travel allowances to the mine. * Conduct a thorough equipment inspection (pre-shift walk-around) before starting the shift. * Immediately report any equipment anomalies before, during, and after the shift. * Assess risks in the work area prior to positioning the equipment. Immediately inform the supervisor if any substandard conditions are identified. * Comply with and align to project standards and procedures. * Know rigging techniques (slings, shackles, hooks, etc.), considering load capacities, specifications, and characteristics of the load to be lifted. * Always wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, high-visibility vest, gloves, safety footwear, and other items required by daily job demands as defined in procedures). * Properly secure the work influence zone and remove unauthorized personnel from the area. * Safeguard and protect company assets assigned for effective job performance (radios, retractable lanyards, harnesses, vehicles, etc.), beginning with equipment orderliness and cleanliness. * Perform other responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor within the scope of functional competence. * Comply with work standards specified in RIT, RISST, RITRAN, IPER, IPERC, and JSA. **EDUCATION:** * Technical personnel (preferred). * Documented competency through courses and/or certifications from previous employers. * Basic knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance (not mandatory). **EXPERIENCE:** * Minimum three years of certified experience lifting cargo in industrial, mining, construction, civil works, or plant shutdown projects, among others. **AVAILABILITY:** * Availability to work under a 14x7 schedule or other special or alternative work arrangements, depending on operational requirements. * Willingness to travel within the country. **KNOWLEDGE:** * Familiarity with international standards (ASME B30) that standardize best practices for lifting. * Ability to read and accurately interpret load charts and diagrams for the equipment being operated. * Knowledge of hand signals per ASME B30.5 standard. * Extensive knowledge in developing a rigging plan. * Teamwork capability and soft skills (effective communication with assigned rigger). * Proactive approach to work and positive attitude oriented toward continuous improvement.
