Our client, Davy College, an educational institution focused on the International Baccalaureate (IB), is seeking the following profile: **REQUIREMENTS** * Bachelor’s degree in Education or Mathematics. * Master’s degree in Education or Mathematics (Desirable). * Minimum 3 years of teaching experience. * Prior experience in an international and/or British school, and in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (Desirable). * Experience teaching Mathematics at primary or secondary level. * Proficiency in technological tools: Google Classroom, MS Office, Zoom. * Minimum English proficiency level B2 (desirable). * Willingness to reside in the city of Cajamarca. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Ensure compliance with supervision, discipline, coexistence, and student safety policies both inside and outside the classroom, aligning with institutional objectives in these areas. * Develop, manage, and implement the curricular and institutional teaching plan according to guidelines for each level, program, and grade, ensuring achievement of subject-specific and institutional objectives. * Design, coordinate, and carry out assessment processes appropriate to the level, grade, and program—including diagnostic, formative, analytical, and interpretive evaluation—to demonstrate students’ mastery of competencies, capacities, and skills, and ensure timely communication regarding student learning progress. * Maintain timely communication with parents/guardians using the tools provided by the school (DAVY ONLINE) to ensure effective communication about students’ academic and socio-emotional progress, challenges, and improvements—thus enabling collaborative family–school engagement. * Keep DRIVE and GOOGLE CLASSROOM updated with required information, in accordance with established guidelines and deadlines set by the school, to support the teaching–learning process and ensure information traceability. * Implement classroom methodology, key elements, and pedagogical approaches in line with the school’s guidelines, the International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC), the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, and the national curriculum (MINEDU), to deliver world-class instruction aligned with international standards. * Create a functional, safe, engaging, and physically comfortable learning space conducive to effective learning. * Monitor the progress and performance of students enrolled in differentiated assessment or support systems (SAE / Well-being) to achieve individual student goals. **WORK SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; two days per week extended until 4:30 p.m.** **BENEFITS:** * Formal employment registration (payroll inclusion) * Full coverage under PACIFICO Health Insurance and Oncological Insurance * Educational benefit for employees with children * Transportation allowance Please send your CV to cv@selekto-rrhh.com with the subject line “Mathematics Teacher – Cajamarca”.
