Job Summary: Perform mechanical maintenance, inspection, and repair of plant equipment to ensure quality, effectiveness, and safety. Key Highlights: 1. Participation in improvement ideas and cost reduction **JOB MISSION:** Perform mechanical maintenance, inspection, and repair tasks on plant equipment in coordination with the senior technician in the same category to ensure achievement of quality, effectiveness, and safety objectives in maintenance execution. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Perform preventive, corrective, and proactive maintenance tasks in coordination with the senior technician in the same category, adhering to standard timeframes and quality requirements specified in Chinalco Mining’s maintenance plans. * Conduct inspection routes using checklists (visual inspection) and thermal imaging cameras, documenting findings via equipment-specific checklists; develop and implement corrective action plans to eliminate root causes of potential failures. * Identify symptoms related to data collected from various predictive technology equipment, such as vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasonics, and oil analysis. * Support repair processes for plant components including gearboxes, pulleys, pumping systems, crushers, filters, etc. * Participate in improvement initiatives aimed at reducing accident incidence, increasing equipment availability, and lowering operational costs. * Develop and implement Standard Safe Work Procedures (SSWPs) and corrective action plans to achieve zero safety and environmental incidents. * Prepare routine reports related to maintenance activities. * Fulfill other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor aligned with departmental objectives. * Develop technical procedures and/or work standards to improve current maintenance practices, considering acceptance criteria based on execution quality "3T" (Target, Tolerance, and Test). * Execute the identified backlog according to priority determined by the maintenance management process. * Generate work orders (WOs) and perform technical closure/notification for each WO completed by the maintenance team. The Toromocho Mining Unit is the first world-class copper mine fully executed and developed from inception overseas by a Chinese enterprise. It is located in the district of Morococha, province of Yauli, department of Junín, at over 4,500 meters above sea level. It operates a concentrator plant processing approximately 117,200 metric tons of ore per day. Today, Chinalco Perú is one of the most important enterprises within China Copper and CHINALCO’s largest wholly-owned foreign subsidiary. Requirements **1\.\- Degrees:** MECHANICAL ENGINEERING, PLANT MACHINERY MAINTENANCE, PLANT MAINTENANCE, INDUSTRIAL MACHINES AND PROCESSES **2\.\- Experience:** 4 years overall, 4 years in the sector, 2 years in the position **3\.\- Technological Tools:** EXCEL (Intermediate), SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) (Basic) **4\.\- Certifications:** Certification for assigned equipment; Valid certification for Overhead Crane and Monorail equipment; Rigger certification; Certification for special chute carrier and linear equipment; Class AI driver’s license (with at least one year of validity) **KNOWLEDGE:** * Reading of mechanical drawings * Maintenance of mineral processing equipment * Industrial lubrication techniques * Diagnosis and elimination of mechanical equipment failures * Knowledge of mining safety, occupational health, and environmental management in plant maintenance Benefits Fi Plnes mpensae cticpoey o arcecBen
