Monitoring and design of quality parameters **JOB MISSION:** Lead the QA/QC and standardization discipline team in coordination with project leaders to ensure compliance with quality control and assurance parameters during MCP project execution. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** Functionally manage QA/QC and standardization discipline members regarding implementation and execution of quality assurance and quality control processes, establishing a resource allocation plan across various projects according to established priorities. Supervise and control general quality and standardization standards for purchased equipment manufacturing. Coordinate actions of in-house service consultants to improve processes. Monitor, design, and define quality control and assurance parameters for MCP project execution. Timely report on the status of the discipline throughout the project portfolio development, providing support during execution phases using tracking and control tools. Control expenses and costs of activities under the discipline. Supervise the preparation of M.C.P.'s 5-year Strategic Plan, considering guidelines provided by the Parent Company and information supplied by the Geological Exploration Department and other company departments. Coordinate with the Geological Exploration Department on regional exploration plan progress and identification of new mineral deposits, concessions, and economically viable (brownfield) projects. In 2007, Aluminum Corporation of China (CHINALCO) established Minera Chinalco Perú S.A. (Chinalco Perú) to construct, develop, and operate the Toromocho copper mega-project. The Toromocho Mining Unit has been the first world-class copper mine executed and developed from inception overseas by a Chinese enterprise. It is located in the Morococha District, Yauli Province, Junín Department, at an altitude of over 4,500 meters above sea level. It features a concentrator plant processing approximately 117,200 tons of ore per day. Today, Chinalco Perú is one of the most important companies within China Copper and CHINALCO's largest wholly-owned foreign subsidiary. Requirements Bachelor's degree and professional registration in CIVIL ENGINEERING, ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING, MECHANICAL ENGINEERING, MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING, or CIVIL ENGINEERING. Minimum 10 years of overall experience, including 8 years in the sector and 5 years in the position. Intermediate English proficiency. Intermediate proficiency in Excel, MS Project, and AutoCAD. Basic proficiency in Aconex. PMP certification (desirable) A1 driver's license (desirable) Postgraduate studies in Quality Management (desirable) Availability to work under a 4X3 shift regime. TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES Design quality control and assurance. Quality assurance for purchased equipment manufacturing. Development of project execution plans.
