Position Summary:
Supervise and coordinate the execution of electrical and instrumentation maintenance to ensure plant asset availability and operational continuity.

**POSITION MISSION:** Supervise and coordinate the execution of electrical and instrumentation maintenance work on plant equipment and facilities under responsibility, in accordance with the maintenance plan, reviewing maintenance execution quality to ensure plant asset availability and contribute to operational continuity.
**FUNCTIONS:**
* Assign, distribute, and coordinate daily scheduled electrical and instrumentation maintenance tasks (preventive maintenance, inspections, scheduled corrective maintenance) and unscheduled responses to plant facilities/equipment.
* Supervise the execution of assigned electrical and instrumentation maintenance work performed by subordinates, coordinating with third parties for both scheduled and unscheduled work.
* Monitor quarterly tool inventories, including technicians’ hand tools (tool kits) and the tool warehouse inventory (diagnostic tools).
* Monitor order and cleanliness before, during, and after maintenance work execution in workshops and field locations.
* Review workshop-generated documentation resulting from equipment servicing for subsequent submission to Planning.
* Supervise equipment shutdown and handover in coordination with the Plant Operations department.
* Control corrective maintenance work orders and notifications, supervising technical closure of work orders/notifications in SAP.
* Perform basic maintenance on plant equipment in the absence of technicians due to various reasons.
* Support monitoring of the development of weekly and daily electrical and instrumentation maintenance plans for plant equipment and facilities.
* Implement defined contingency and/or action plans for unplanned shutdown events.
In 2007, Aluminum Corporation of China (CHINALCO) established Minera Chinalco Perú S.A. (Chinalco Perú) to build, develop, and operate the Toromocho copper mega-project.
Toromocho Mining Unit has been the first world-class copper mine fully executed and developed from inception abroad by a Chinese enterprise. It is located in the Morococha District, Yauli Province, Junín Department, at over 4,500 meters above sea level.
It operates a concentrator plant processing approximately 117,200 tons of ore per day.
Today, Chinalco Perú is one of China Copper’s most important enterprises and CHINALCO’s largest wholly-owned foreign company.
Requirements
**1\.\- Degrees:** ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING, ELECTROMECHANICAL ENGINEERING, ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING, INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING
**2\.\- Experience:** 8 years overall, 5 years in the sector, 3 years in the position
**3\.\- Technical Tools:** EXCEL (Intermediate), SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) (Intermediate)
**4\.\- Certifications:** NFPA Certification, IPEN Nuclear Source Handling License
**5\.\- Licenses:** Degree holder, registered with professional association, and licensed to practice; Class A1 Driver’s License; (For internal transfers only) Certifications verifying awareness of potential or actual health/safety hazards within the mining unit (if degree is unrelated); (For internal transfers only) Minimum 3 years of experience in the area (if degree is unrelated)
