**POSITION MISSION:** Coordinate, control, and report on cycle counting operations of materials to ensure control over actions preventing the increase and reduction of obsolete inventory, expired materials, direct charges, surplus, and backlogs. Likewise, analyze, coordinate, and report on layout optimization in the warehouses of the Toromocho Mining Unit, managing continuous improvement initiatives. **FUNCTIONS:** * Organize, prepare, and monitor daily counts and weekly recounts across all warehouses. * Coordinate the annual inventory taking. * Verify, control, and report direct charges, obsolete items, and expired items. * Evaluate, propose, and generate improvement proposals for storage spaces using layouts and other tools. * Verify, control, and report surplus materials from TEP. * Verify, control, and report backlogs. In 2007, Aluminum Corporation of China (CHINALCO) established Minera Chinalco Perú S.A. (Chinalco Perú) to build, develop, and operate the Toromocho copper megaproject. The Toromocho Mining Unit has been the first world-class copper mine that a Chinese company has executed and developed entirely from inception overseas. It is located in the district of Morococha, Yauli province, Junín department, and over 4,500 meters above sea level. It operates a concentrator plant processing approximately 117,200 tons of ore per day. Today, Chinalco Perú is one of the most important companies within China Copper and the largest wholly-owned foreign subsidiary of CHINALCO.
