We are Consorcio Logístico Sagitario, currently we have a large-scale project under development with our client MINERA CHINALCO. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Conduct a thorough equipment inspection (pre-operational check) before starting the shift. * Immediately report any equipment anomalies before, during, and after the shift. * Assess risks in the work area before beginning tasks. Report any substandard conditions immediately to the supervisor. * Comply with and adhere to project standards and procedures. * Prepare safety management documents with required signatures according to project standards before starting any activity. * Evaluate load characteristics before inserting the forks (tines); secure unstable loads to the frame using straps if necessary. * Request a spotter when blind spots exist, and also when moving from one location to another, even without a load. * Extension attachments on the forks should only be used for larger volume loads, not heavier weight loads. * Always wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including helmet, goggles, vest, gloves, footwear, and other items specified by daily job requirements as defined in procedures. * Properly secure the work zone and remove unauthorized personnel from the area. * Care for and protect company assets assigned for proper performance of duties (radios, retractable lanyards, harnesses, vehicles, etc.), starting with equipment organization and cleanliness. * Perform other responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor within the scope of functional competence. * Comply with work standards specified in RIT, RISST, RITRAN, IPER, IPERC, and JSA. **EDUCATION:** * Technical-level education (preferred). * Documented competencies or certifications from previous workplaces. * Basic knowledge of forklift maintenance (non-restrictive). **EXPERIENCE**: * Minimum of 3 years of certified experience performing cargo handling in industrial plants, warehouses, projects within the mining, construction sectors, plant shutdowns, among others. **AVAILABILITY:** * Available to work under a 14x7 schedule or other special or rotational shifts according to operational needs. * Willingness to travel within the country. **SKILLS**: * Ability to read and accurately interpret forklift load charts. * Extensive knowledge of regulations governing safe forklift operation. * Teamwork skills and soft skills. * Proactive work attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.
