Job Summary: We are seeking personnel to operate heavy machinery and telescopic cranes, performing inspections, assessing risks, and complying with standards on mining and industrial projects. Knowledge of international ASME B30 lifting standards 3. 14-days-on/7-days-off work schedule and willingness to travel We are a Lima-based company providing plant and mine shutdown maintenance services, as well as rental of heavy machinery and telescopic cranes. Currently, we have a large-scale project underway with our client MINERA CHINALCO, and require the following duties to be performed: * Conduct a thorough pre-shift equipment inspection (e.g., “cock’s turn” check). * Immediately report any equipment anomalies before, during, and after the shift. * Assess workplace hazards prior to positioning the equipment; immediately inform the supervisor if any substandard conditions are identified. * Comply with and align to project standards and procedures. * Understand rigging techniques (slings, shackles, hooks, etc.), considering load capacities, specifications, and characteristics of the load to be lifted. * Always wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, high-visibility vest, gloves, safety footwear, and other items specified per daily job requirements in procedures). * Properly secure the worksite and remove unauthorized personnel from work areas. * Safeguard and protect company assets assigned for effective job performance (radios, retractable lanyards, harnesses, vehicles, etc.), beginning with equipment organization and cleanliness. * Perform other responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor within the scope of functional competence. * Comply with work standards outlined in RIT, RISST, RITRAN, IPER, IPERC, and JSA. **EDUCATION:** * Technical personnel (preferred). * Documented competency from courses and/or certifications issued by previous employers. * Basic knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance (not mandatory). **EXPERIENCE:** * Minimum 3 years of certified experience in lifting operations for industrial, mining, construction, civil works, plant shutdowns, and similar sectors. **AVAILABILITY:** * Willingness to work under a 14-days-on/7-days-off schedule or other special or alternative work arrangements, as required by operational needs. * Willingness to travel throughout the country. **KNOWLEDGE:** * Familiarity with international standards (ASME B30\) that define best practices for cargo lifting. * Ability to read and accurately interpret crane load charts and diagrams. * Knowledge of hand signals per ASME B30\.5\ standard. * In-depth knowledge of ASME B30\.22\ standard. * Extensive knowledge of lifting operations. * Teamwork capability and soft skills. * Proactive work attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.
