




Position Summary: Plan, manage, and control the execution of drilling and blasting activities for material extraction, meeting requirements and cost targets. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage and control the execution of daily, weekly, and monthly Drilling and Blasting (D&B) plans. 2. Coordinate resource supply and equipment maintenance. 3. Develop and control the operational budget and manage improvement projects. **POSITION MISSION:** Plan, manage, and control the execution of daily, weekly, and monthly Drilling and Blasting (D&B) plans to obtain broken material suitable for loading equipment, fulfilling crushing and dumping requirements, planned costs, and achieving zero accidents. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Manage and control the execution of daily, weekly, and monthly Drilling & Blasting (D&B) plans. * Coordinate the supply of MCP resources (materials, equipment, support personnel) required for drilling and blasting operations. * Coordinate maintenance of drill rigs and blasting support equipment. * Coordinate the availability of contractor equipment and personnel for blasting execution. * Develop, control, and monitor short-, medium-, and long-term operational budgets. * Manage the development of weekly and monthly D&B plans. * Prepare monthly reports and reports requested by Mine Operations Superintendent and Mine Operations Management. * Manage and control improvement projects within the drilling and blasting area. * Manage activities related to D&B design and development as required by the processing plant department. * Manage proposals for alternative measures to control blasts conducted near infrastructure or facilities located within 100 meters, including necessary safety actions. In 2007, Aluminum Corporation of China (CHINALCO) established Minera Chinalco Perú S.A. (Chinalco Perú) to construct, develop, and operate the Toromocho copper mega-project. The Toromocho Mining Unit has been the first world-class copper mine fully executed and developed from inception overseas by a Chinese company. It is located in the district of Morococha, province of Yauli, department of Junín, at an altitude exceeding 4,500 meters above sea level. It operates a concentrator plant processing approximately 117,200 tons of ore per day. Today, Chinalco Perú is one of the most important enterprises within China Copper and the largest wholly foreign-owned subsidiary of CHINALCO.
