In Peru, we operate across most economic sectors—including mining, agriculture, and fishing—forming part of the value chain for their products and services. **Job Description** * Perform scheduled monthly preventive maintenance (internal or external), according to your specialty, to ensure continuous operation of laboratory equipment. * Carry out tasks assigned by the coordinator to fulfill the maintenance program, resolve Fracttal requests, implement improvements, and execute new initiatives. * Achieve annual departmental objectives to prevent unplanned shutdowns affecting SGS facilities and equipment. * Use Fracttal software to manage maintenance activities. * Perform maintenance on extraction systems, dust/lead collection systems, gas scrubbers, vacuum pumps, hydraulic pumps, motors, generators, crushers, etc. * Prepare a preventive maintenance report upon completion of service. * Accurately complete work orders and close-out documentation, including the coordinator’s signature. * Affix preventive maintenance labels upon job completion, ensuring correct entry of the date performed and next scheduled maintenance. * Respond to emergency calls as required. * Execute on-site plant activities related to emergency calls. * Travel to provincial locations and mining sites to carry out both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities. **Requirements** * Technical background in mechanical/electrical/electronic maintenance, production, or related fields. * Preferably trained in PLCs, balancing, vibration analysis, and industrial automation. * Minimum one year of experience in similar roles. * Knowledge of machining and fitting, welding, fits and tolerances, equipment alignment, hydraulics, pneumatics, and gas installations.
